Alexander is a Senior from Murfreesboro, Tennessee double majoring in Political Economy and Italian. As President, he will be responsible for the oversight of the organization and planning meaningful events for Blackstonians members with the rest of the E-Board. After graduation, Alexander plans to go to law school and is interested in international law or intellectual patent law.
Vice President Lily Tan
Lily is a junior from Beijing, China majoring in Economics double majoring in Data Science. As Vice President, she will be responsible for assisting the President, aiding the other board members, and focusing on recruitment and new members. Upon graduating, Lily plans to attend law school and is interested in practicing cyber or corporate law.
Secretary Susanna Andryan
Susanna is a junior from the San Fernando Valley in LA double majoring in Legal Studies and Philosophy, Politics, and Law. As Secretary, Susanna will be responsible for keeping track of meetings, events and membership. Upon graduating, Susanna plans to attend law school and is interested in practicing corporate law.
Treasurer Patris Rokni
Patris is a sophomore from the Santa Clarita Valley majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in law. As Treasurer, his job is to monitor and maintain the budget. After graduation, Patris plans to attend law school and is interested in practicing corporate law/litigation.
Social Media Coordinator Ava Schwartzapfel
Ava is a junior from New York majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Law and minoring in Forensics and Criminality. As Social Media Coordinator, Ava will be responsible for branding and Blackstonian's social media accounts. Upon graduating, Ava plans to attend law school back on the east coast and hopes to be an attorney.
Faculty Advisor Alison Dundes Renteln
Professor Renteln studies international law, human rights, comparative legal systems, Constitutional law and legal and political theory. An expert on cultural rights, including the use of the "cultural defense" in the legal system. Professor Renteln has lectured to judicial organizations and law enforcement groups on this subject. She served on the State Bar Commission on Access to Justice and the California Judicial Council Access and Fairness Advisory Committee. She also served as a member of the California Attorney General's Commission on Hate Crimes.
